ISEE
The ISEE (Independent School Entrance Examination) is used by private and boarding schools to determine a prospective student’s application.
Who Takes It?
- Grades 4-5 take the ISEE Lower Level Test
- Grades 6-7 take the ISEE Middle Level Test
- Grades 8-11 take the ISEE Upper Level Test
Details
The ISEE is a standardized test administered over a three-hour period. It consists of a series of multiple-choice questions divided into four scored sections and one essay section. All three levels contain the following sections:
- Verbal Reasoning
- Quantitative Reasoning
- Reading Comprehension
- Mathematics Achievement
- Essay Section
There is a $80 registration fee for the ISEE when you register by mail or online.
